Carson Maxwell

A fourth-generation Houstonian and former professional baseball player, Carson Maxwell brings discipline, precision, and people-first values to everything he does. He entered the real estate world with a drive to make an impact—and he’s done just that. In just two years, Carson’s hands-on style and sharp market sense have earned him a reputation as a rising star in Houston’s residential space.

Conner Smith

Conner brings a unique blend of global construction experience, military leadership, and operational precision to the CraftHaus team. With over four years managing high-profile projects at Turner & Townsend—including for one of the world’s top tech companies—he specializes in cost control, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

Before becoming a Project Manager, Conner worked as a Project Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in both quantity surveying and assistant project management. He holds a B.S. in Construction Science with a Business minor from Texas A&M and interned in London with Morrisroe, where he sharpened his technical skills on complex concrete structures.

A former U.S. Air Force officer and combat veteran, Conner also served in the Air National Guard during Hurricane Harvey relief. His calm under pressure and strategic mindset make him a powerful asset to every build. At CraftHaus, he leads with clarity, discipline, and a passion for excellence.

Will Smalling

With a sharp eye for operations and a mind for strategy, Will Smalling brings precision and purpose to every CraftHaus project. Before co-founding the company, he built his career in supply chain and logistics management, optimizing systems for efficiency and building trusted vendor relationships across the industry. His ability to streamline processes and source high-quality materials is a key reason CraftHaus projects run smoothly from day one.

A natural problem solver with a background in sales and marketing, Will blends analytical thinking with client-focused service. He’s known for keeping projects on track and under budget—without sacrificing design or detail. Whether he's negotiating lead times, forecasting demand, or deep diving into product specs, Will ensures every element is delivered with care, quality, and commitment.
